This home was completed in 2010, and while some of the furniture had stood the test of time, other pieces were ready for a refresh. The updates were completed in two phases: first the living room, followed by the dining room and primary bedroom.

The living room design was based off of the incredible handmade custom rug, with colors pulled from the existing dining table and chairs, lounge chairs, and ottoman. The architectural palette provided the perfect backdrop, allowing for the playful use of color to shine.

The clients loved their newly refreshed living room so much that they decided to update the dining room rug in phase two. A simple, larger-scale pattern added interest to the space while still allowing the living room to remain the focal point. The colors were chosen to complement both the dining furniture and the living room.

In the primary bedroom, the headboard and rug had faded from years of sunlight. We reupholstered the bed in a bright teal suede and selected a coordinating rug. New bedding was also chosen to tie everything together and bring a fresh, updated feel to the space.
